Much thanks...

I'm cutting it close today, but this is honestly the first time I've had to sit down at my computer all day. Yikes! Today I am so thankful for my God, and here's a few of the reasons why:

• My God has delivered me from my sins. For You, O Lord, Have delivered my soul from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling, that I may walk before the Lord in the land of the living. Psalm 116:8-9
• My God does not hold my sin against me. Therefore, there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. Romans 8:1
• My God does good things for me. The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy. Psalm 126:3
• My God answers my prayer, despite my consistent failure. Many times he delivered them, but they were bent on rebellion and they wasted away in their sin. But he took note of their distress when he heard their cry. Psalm 106:43-44
• My God has redeemed my life and continues to redeem the circumstances of my life. For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down from your forefathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect. 1 Peter 1:18-19
• My God is not done with me yet. ...being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ. Philippians 1:6

All these things the Lord has reminded me of just today. And because of that, I am thankful for some of the hard things I've gone through in the last few months to bring me to this place. A place of restoration. A place of thankfulness. A place that is so full of God's grace that you just can't help but trust Him and know that it is only through Him that you are here..
