Christmas on the River

My grandparents live on the river.  It's awesome.  We spent our Christmas with them over New Year's weekend.  The weather was awesome - we spent plenty of time out on the back porch.  And lots of great time with family...and lots of pictures!

Christmas Day

Ahhh Christmas day - breakfast, snow, fun with family.  It was a great day!  I loved that the snow kept us in all day and that we got to just sit by the fire and watch it all come down.  Snow on Christmas is certainly one of my favorite things.

On the Eve of Christmas

Christmas Eve was a lot of fun this year.  We were at my parent's house in Amarillo.  My aunt and uncle came in that afternoon.  We had presents from Santa Clause, went to church, played spades, and had the first annual white elephant gift exchange.  Overall, it was great fun and I just loved being with my family.

Deborah's Wedding Pictures

I haven't posted to the blog since November...whenever I finished blogging about my sister's wedding.  So it's only appropriate that my comeback begins with a link to more wedding pictures.  Her photographers (who are amazing!) just got some pictures up on their blog, so here's the link.  Enjoy.  They are pretty darn good at what they do!

Deborah's Wedding!!!

The actual wedding.  Probably the thing I have the least pictures of.  But it was lovely.  The ceremony was amazing.  Deborah & Stephen's Young Life director Rodney did the ceremony.  He did an excellent job.  He made it evident that their relationship with Christ is why they are together and how their marriage will work.  The bride and groom and their parents served communion to everyone and I loved that. 

The reception was beautiful.  My mom's friend Tanya did a most of the decorating and it turned out amazing.  It was just what Deborah wanted and it was awesome.  I wish I had more pictures, but I'll post a link to the photographer's pictures whenever they are up.
