9/30: Pain in the...

...feet!  I got new running shoes in the mail this weekend. I went to the gym last night to start breaking them in.  OH MY STARS!  My feet have never hurt so bad in running shoes.  Ever.  They are the exact same shoes I've always run in...probably my 6th or 7th pair of them, just the new model.  I think there's something different.  Ouch!  I'm going to keep trying, but I don't know if these are going to last.
And outfit #2.  Welcome to my backyard...it's a jungle. Still feel awkward taking pictures of myself.  I should probably pay more attention to how other people pose when they take their outfit pictures...seeing as how they don't end up with the awkward claw that I did in this picture.  And also, don't worry.  A spreadsheet is being made to make sure I don't double-wear outfits.  I know if you know me you aren't surprised!

Haha you're making me laugh with the self criticism! But I understand, I kind of dislike all pictures of myself. If it makes you feel better, I like it! Even the claw. It's like you're ready for a fight or maybe to stave off some suitor Father Patrick has ready for you. My fave part is the little leg bend. :)

I don't completely understand the clothes challenge (probably because I haven't read clearly...) but I like seeing your creations!

You should definitely make the switch to the 5 finger shoes.

They are awesome. They basically emulate running barfoot. I have been using them for over 2 months now and I do not have pain in my knees, back or legs. You definitely have to get used to them, but they ROCK!!

3 things:

1. I wear those same running shoes so sad news that the new model is hurting you!
2. You are adorable.
3. The fact that you make spreadsheets for your 30x30 outfits is adorable.

Hahaha! The claw! Posing SUCKS caboose. No lie. Thankfully, I do it in front of my four year old daughter, who I *hope* will never look back at my doing this & think me odd. :-/

Am I the only one not doing spreadsheets? Seriously! You're the third blogger I've read that's doing that!

& it's odd about your running shoes... maybe runnersworld.com would have something about an update?

Phew, long ass comment, DONE! :)

I have a hard time breaking in shoes too. Band-Aids are my friend. And I think you look great! :) Keep it up!
