You Tube Wednesday

I think it's time for a new tradition here on the blog. You Tube Wednesday.  I've seen too many great or funny videos lately not to share.  So here we go.

This video is ridiculous.  Stick with it.  It gets even better the farther in you get.

I'm sure you've heard "Call me Maybe".  If not, I don't know how you've escaped it.   I kind of love this take.  And if you're bored, watch some of the other ones they have of Obama singing.  They are pretty hilarious.

Volunteer Appreciation from Watermark Community Church on Vimeo.
And an oldie, but a goodie.  From our volunteer appreciation at church last year.  I fully realize it might not be as funny if you don't go to Watermark, but I love it too much.  And really, if you do nothing else, especially if you grew up in the baptist church, fast forward to 4:30...it's totally worth it.

Viva la Mexico!

At the end of February I got to go on a little trip to Mexico with my work because we met our goals for the year before.  There are definitely some perks to this job.  It was great.  We spent a four day weekend in Playa del Carmen and it was great.  We sat in some meetings, laid by the pool, played on the beach, did some team building, danced late into the night, and really enjoyed getting to know new people.  It was such a great trip.  I feel so blessed to work where I work and with the people I do.  We had a photographer with us on the trip, so none of the pictures are mine, hence their awesomeness.

Me & Laura on the way over.

See - we really did work. :)

Team building time.  We had to do different challenges to get the pieces of a bike.  Then we had to assemble them and got to give the bike to a kid from a local school.  It was a fun event.

D Town...kind of

This year was my small group girl's last D-Town (Watermark's version of disciple now).  They all had a ton of stuff going on with being important seniors and stuff. :)  So none of them signed up for the weekend, but we ended up crashing Saturday night.  I was glad that I got to spend at least a little of the weekend with my girls.  And we took a few pictures of course...
